Empirical Frontiers of Fundamental Physics is Volume 2 of the Quantum Model of the Universe (QMU) research programme. It examines how collider experiments, vacuum structure, effective field theory, quantum-gravity interfaces, and precision cosmology constrain attempts to connect microphysical physics with the large-scale evolution of the Universe.
The volume brings together evidence from the Large Hadron Collider, Higgs physics, electroweak symmetry breaking, vacuum stability, searches for new particles and dark-sector physics, alongside cosmological observations from Planck, JWST, DESI, SDSS, gravitational lensing, large-scale structure, dark matter, and dark energy.
Its central principle is strict empirical admissibility: any proposed extension must recover established physics within its tested domain, identify its degrees of freedom and scales, specify measurable observables, control degeneracies and parameter identifiability, and state clear conditions under which experiment or observation could falsify it.
Rather than replacing the Standard Model, general relativity, or modern cosmology, the book develops a controlled framework for examining where these descriptions are compatible, where tensions arise, and where scientifically testable connections between different physical scales may exist.
