British Columbia by campervan - A two-week itinerary - moose galore #1013428

This guide was born from months of scattered notes across emails, Excel spreadsheets, Google Maps and WhatsApp — and, above all, it was tested on a real campervan trip through British Columbia with five people in August 2026.

Once back home, I revised and refined it based on what we actually experienced during two weeks and around 3,000 km on the road. The result is a very practical little guide on how to plan and manage such a long road trip through a land as vast as British Columbia.

You’ll find plenty of ideas about what to see, but that’s not really the main purpose of this guide — after all, there’s always Instagram for that (unfortunately). Instead, you’ll find lots of tips and ideas to help you explore British Columbia independently, while still having a little guidance along the way — and to discover a side of this province that is unexpected, surprising and truly wonderful.
