King Yao was a selfless and dedicated leader who lived a simple life, prioritizing the well-being of his people over personal wealth or comfort. He worked tirelessly every day, living in a small house and wearing plain clothes so he could give his best resources to the people. Known for his cleverness and empathy, Yao actively sought to solve his subjects' problems, such as flooding or extreme heat. As he aged, Yao recognized that his own son was unfit to lead. Instead of following tradition, he chose a hardworking and virtuous man named Shun to be his successor. Yao retired happily, finding peace in knowing that his people were in good hands. His legacy serves as a reminder that true greatness comes from loving others and working hard to help them. This book is for all Chinese beginners. I tried to include most of the vocabularies used in the story, along with their English meanings. Wherever possible, I tried to make use of simple grammar structures and avoid the more complicated grammar structures. If you are a beginner in the Chinese language, this is the book for you.
