Galileo Alcázar is a Spanish scientist who works in a base in Patagonia where alternative sources of energy are studied, but he discovers that the project is a cover for the extraction of combustible fossil fuels and provoks an international confrontation between Spain and Argentina. Galileo is detained by the Argentinian government and forced to participate in a secret genetic experiment where his ethics and sanity are put to the test. As he progresses with his research, Galileo gets to know the Argentinian President, the seductive Cristina González, with whom he falls hopelessly in love. In a future where falling in love is outlawed and considered to be a mental illness, Galileo must keep his secret and uncover the truth about this mystery called love. Delirious presidents, demented scientists, relentless flunkies, semihuman monsters, futurist natives, passionate adolescents... "We'll Have to Kill it" is a hybrid novel that subscribes to a bizarre genre, mixed with intrigue and adventure in a dystopian future, large doses of humor and irony with just a touch of terror, eroticism, romance and melodrama, ontop of a set of literary references.
