Professor Michael Subbey has his specialty in Special Education (Early Childhood Inclusive Education) and lectures in the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ghana. He has over 25 years of experience in tertiary-level teacher education and has served as Head of Department for Early Childhood Education and Director of the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development at UEW. He is the Managing Editor of the International Journal for Early Childhood Care and Educational Research and has authored several textbooks and course books in early childhood and special education. His areas of interest include: inclusive education, child and adolescent development and Learning, and intellectual disability.
