Death from Rwanda - The suicide of a Belgian missionary and the disappearance of a former legionnaire #1016336

Father Théréau, the parish priest of a small village in the French Pyrenees and a former missionary in Africa, is found dead. It appears to be a suicide – complete with a final message from the priest – but those who knew him well, such as a female friend from Paris, strongly disagree with this conclusion. Indeed, his diary reveals a complex and surprising personality to Chief Inspector Morel, recounting his religious doubts and his decision to radically change his way of life. To uncover the culprit, Morel (a former French counter-intelligence officer) must consult the Foreign Legion archives, fly to Kigali, Rwanda, and investigate those responsible for the 1994 genocide, some of whom the former missionary had known personally.
