You will learn some of the fundamentals of

making fruit centerpieces by following the

steps outlined in this guide. You will just

need an excellent knife, a few toothpicks,

some fresh fruit, and your creative juices to

complete this project. I have no formal

training in this area, but I have produced a

few centerpieces for various summer events

(around the time of year when fruit is

available!).

You will learn how to carve a melon using a

straightforward method that is applicable to

all varieties of melons during the course of

this guide. I'm going to demonstrate how to

sculpt a cantaloupe using this demonstration.
