The Day the Rain Changed Our Plans #1013090

Ada has packed for a picnic under her favourite park tree. Then rain begins, and the plan she loved must wait.
With Mum beside her, Ada makes room for disappointment—and a new idea: a picnic beneath the kitchen table, a paper sun and music made with gentle taps.
A warm illustrated story for shared reading, ages 4–7, about adapting to changed plans without rushing away difficult feelings. Includes three story illustrations and questions to talk about together.
