Pingottino is a little old dog who loves pasta with meat sauce with all his heart. So, when Grandma Therese makes it for him, he would like to gobble it all up in one go.
But that day he is tired, very hungry, and his little back paws start slipping down as if he were wearing roller skates. Up and down, down and up! What a muddle!
The story is told by a child who can never really sit properly at the table: he wants to run off right away to play, watch cartoons and cuddle his little doggy, and that is why he sometimes gets told off. But when Pingottino ends up half standing and half sitting in front of his bowl, the whole family sees just how sweet and funny it can be not to sit PRO-PER-LY at all!
