The de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was a British military plane of great versatility during the Second World War.
He was affectionately nicknamed "Mossie" by its crews and also had other nicknames such as "The Wooden Wonder" (the Wonder of wood) or "The Timber Terror" (Terror of wood), since the cell was made of wood laminate.
