Appearing originally in 1843, in the Charleston Rambler, a paper of limited circulation, it would, in the usual course of events, soon have become ex tinct. In fact, even at the present time it would be almost impossible to procure a copy. We have therefore determined to reprint it, and it is accord ingly presented in the present form, with the ad dition of many historical notes and biographical notices.
