Whitby: Silvester Reed. 1855. This work will be quoted as simpson, 1855. There is no copy in the British Museum, nor in the Bodleian Library, Oxford, so that a more exact date of publication is not known. The work is, however, not so difficult to procure as the 1843 publication.
