Ernesto Bozzano, born in Genoa in 1862, was the father of Italian Parapsychology and the author of fundamental essays on Spiritualism, psychic research, and paranormal phenomena. As a scholar and researcher with a multidisciplinary approach, he also became interested in the relationship between Archaeology and psychic research, especially in light of the striking archaeological discoveries of his time thanks to precise indications provided by mediums and sensitives or by disembodied entities during seances. Emblematic in this regard were the researches conducted by the English archaeologist, esotericist, and freemason Frederick Bligh Bond, who, from 1908, was appointed director of the excavations at the site of the Benedictine Abbey of Glastonbury, famous for its connection with Joseph of Arimathea and with the myths of the Arthurian Cycle. The archaeologist, who was already involved in metapsychic investigations and had developed his own personal theory of a “Cosmic Memory”, with the help of sensitives, came into direct contact with the entities of monks who had participated in the Abbey's construction in the 12th century. This led to incredible discoveries.
