History and Description of Corfe Castle, in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset #247368

Availing myself of these sources of information, I was able to contribute to the third edition of Hutchins' valuable work an amended and much enlarged account of Corfe Castle; and the same was afterwards reproduced in an abridged and some what altered form, in a paper, read at a meeting of the Archaeological Institute, at Dorchester, in 1866, and printed in the Journal of that Society.
