Sackcloth and ashes may be put on as symbols of worship, but a smiling face and a cheerful confidence in the dailv provi dence of material forces are far more becoming the wor shiper and a better evidence of fellowship between the human and divine than any form of sacrifice, or any sym bols of humility.
