Now, when we say, that more than eighteen hundred years ago there lived in Palestine a man called Jesus of Nazareth, with the surname of Christ, that this man caused great astonishment by his teaching and works, and was crucified, we condense the story of Christ so closely that there is no Christian, no Jew, no Mohammedan, no Pagan, no human being that would deny it. In other words, the historical existence and the crucifixion of Christ are world known, undeniable, and never-denied facts.
