The Divinity of Christ - In the Gospel of John #244914

Speak on it for a week to the Sunday school teachers of Atlanta in October induced me to write out the five addresses in the hope that other Sunday-school teachers and ministers might at least be stimulated to a fresh study of this most wonderful book in all the world. There are all sorts of books about the Gospel of John and a brief bibliography is appended at the end of this volume. I do not undertake to write a full com mentary on John's Gospel, but rather to develop the thesis of the book, as I understand it, with brevity and clearness so that the average man may understand the book better as a whole and in detail as he is led to read it with new interest. John can help us to see Jesus and thus to see God. It is just this vision of God in Christ that makes life worth while and rich. This is a good time for us.
