In Acts it is found in i. 3, viii. 12, xiv. 22, xix. 8, xxviii. 23, xxviii. 31, and in xx. 25 with an ellipse of 7o Oeov. In all these passages it may mean the Church, but In none is the earlier eschatological meaning decisively excluded by the context.
