Leadership Through Service: An Autobiography is a memoir written by global entrepreneur and philanthropist Georgiana Mart, who was born on March 23, 1995, in Roman, Neamț County, Romania. The book chronicles her journey from her early years in a historically rooted Romanian-Hungarian family to her rise as the founder and CEO of Navon Jobs and the broader Navon Holdings group.
Overview
The autobiography reflects Mart’s philosophy that “leadership is service.” It offers a deeply personal look at how her compassion, determination, and vision shaped her path as an entrepreneur. The narrative begins with her childhood memories in Romania and explores how an early experience visiting an orphanage inspired her lifelong commitment to helping others.
Throughout the book, Mart discusses her educational journey across Romania, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland, including her studies at EU Business School in Geneva and Haute Future Fashion Academy in Milan. These international experiences helped her develop a global outlook on leadership and ethics in business.
The chapters highlight the creation and growth of the Navon Group, a multinational collective comprising Navon Jobs, Navon Study International, Navon Builders, Navon Properties, Navon Business Registration, and Navon Global Languages Institute. Mart emphasizes that each branch was designed to “empower people through opportunity, dignity, and education.”
The book also covers her charitable initiatives through the Emilia Foundation, which supports children, families, and disadvantaged communities across Romania, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Themes
The autobiography presents key themes of entrepreneurship, leadership, philanthropy, and empowerment, focusing on how business can be a force for social good. Mart concludes that success has true meaning only when it uplifts others — a principle she calls “leadership through service.”
