As the layers of Revelation are revealed one by one, it's natural to feel perplexed. It's easy to lose track of time in only a few minutes.
 
We can become so engrossed in the music that we become distracted by the notes on the paper rather than enjoying the song. We've been so preoccupied with minor things that we've lost sight of the greater picture...that God is in perfect charge.
 
The apocalypse is not meant to be perplexing; rather, it is meant to inspire confidence and tremendous hope in the hearts of believers. God will still be on the throne when the last word is said by the world's most powerful leaders.
