Each verb-unit is clothed in an appropriate sentence, and these sentences are arranged in dialogue form, thus giving living practice in the use of the various persons and attached pronouns. The abolition of grammar rules preceding each exercise, and the substitution of leading questions which enable the student himself to deduce the grammar illustrated by the subject-matter of each section. Thus each student compiles an Arabic grammar for himself.
