Sec. I. — This ordinance to be known and cited as the Building Code, and presumptively contains the Building Law, except so far as such provisions are contained in the Charter — The following provisions Shall constitute and be known as The Building Code and may be cited as such, and presumptively provides for all matters con cerning, affecting or relating to the construction, altera tion or removal of buildings or structures erected or to be erected in The City of New York, as constituted by the Greater New York Charter, except so far as such provisions are contained in said charter.
