Mechanical details can and should be delegated to a member of the class or group. Although the emphasis on the use of visual aids was originally placed on lightening the teacher's load, the pendulum has swung in recent years and it sometimes seems more difficult to teach with some visual aids than without them. Fortunately, this is not the case with filmstrips. Of course, effective utilization develops with practice, but it is hoped that any reader of this book will see that no special training is needed to use filmstrips well.
