Adem Bilgin is the chair of Association of Digital Ecosystem Governance and Development Research in Ankara, Türkiye and also an environment negotiator in the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, working in the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks. He was the chief negotiator of Türkiye to UNCBD between 2008 and 2020. He was the vice president of European Landscape Convention of the Council of Europe between 2011 and 2013, and also, he is one of the founding Bureau members of Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services representing East Europe. He has B.S. in biology and M.S. in Bioeconomics and M.S. in Political Sciences and International Relations; and he has a certificate of trainer of trainers on robotic coding. He worked in the Turkish government, EU (European Environment Agency) and UN (Food and Agriculture Organization, Central Asia Subregional Office). He is also a pianist, a chess enthusiast and a mixed martial arts fighter. He has written many academic articles, reports and books. He is the inventor of Ewachip, a microchip based on neurobiological non-binary electronics.
