Sophia Blake is now dating a Wall street Banker, named Mark Whitlock. Mark’s friend and colleague, Adam Bryers was found dead – murdered with his wife, Christy. Their sons, Dave and Charlie also, were not spared.

First responders to the crime scene called it a robbery gone bad. But then things take a nasty turn when Mark Whitlock is kidnapped along with 3 of his other colleagues. And then a conspiracy ensues that links Adam Bryers’ death to the recent kidnaps of Mark and the other bankers.
 
Sophia Blake then takes on the case – in express defiance to her Captain’s instruction for her not to.
And during the investigations, Sophia discovers a depth of shady deals by the bankers involving smuggling, drugs, murders – in alliance with corrupt government officials, senior officers in the Chicago Police Department and the Mexican Cartel.
 
But Sophia is determined to get to the root of the problem – and see if by any chance she could free her boyfriend and his colleagues who have been kidnapped by Lucio Compero, the head of the Mexican Drug Cartel.

It’s one thing to go after hardened criminals on the streets of Chicago; but going after the Cartel? ..this was dangerous territory!

Lucio Compero was the fiercest criminal in the whole of Mexico and Sophia was about to walk into the valley of the shadow of death.
Well, at least this made the fight even!
