To give voice to one’s thoughts, feelings, and dreams was so dangerous behind the Iron Curtain, where the author was born and raised. Poetry has become a vital habit, a safe space for a self who meets the world with wonder, pain, delight, fear, with curiosity and passion. 

Irina Filipache was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, where she lives. She is a psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice. She is trained in Transactional Analysis. She is passionate about learning, she loves to study the human psyche, psychohistory, and the life of human societies.
