Anselmo, with his young companion Gregorio, is once again on a mission on behalf of his order and, summoned by the abbot, he travels to an isolated monastery built on the ruins of an ancient city devoted to the worship of blasphemous and bloodthirsty deities. But once again, he cannot imagine what awaits him.
