All know how greatly the study of anatomy, surgery, midwifery, and even of physiology, has been facilitated by means of figures and plates of the various parts and organs of the human body, and also of many of the natural operations transpiring within, or of the artificial operations performed upon it. Then why not make use of this same great aid in Therapeutics, where the knowledge which may be obtained thereby would be so much more important, because of so much more general use?
