Have you ever wanted something so bad that you would do anything to have it? Have you ever wanted something so bad that you lost yourself trying to obtain it? Everything that we want is not always good for us, it’s not always what is in the plans. It can be hard to accept this especially when our vision and desires are so clear and strong. Many times we suffer more when we resist what life has for us. Suffering and pain can be avoided if we could just learn to go with the flow. When I married my high school sweetheart, I never imagined the amount of heartbreak that I would experience. My vision was clear and I was going to be with him forever. With this idea, I took myself on a long journey of pain and suffering. One that could have been avoided if I didn’t resist what life was telling me. At the end I was able to turn that suffering and pain into spiritual growth. This is my story.
