Abortion is a hot topic in our political world today.
I was born in 1930 in Augusta, GA and prematurely weighing 2.5 lbs with a small chance of a healthy survival. Abortion did not enter my parents' or the doctors' mind. After an initial struggle against all odds I gained strength and grew up to be a healthy adult. I served our country for 4 years in the US Airforce during the Korean war and made a career in the automobile business until I retired in 2016 at age 86. Mine was a very interesting and eventful life, saved by
grace and love. Now, almost 96 years old, I am grateful my parents chose life in view of my premature birth, overcoming the many hardships early on.
