Hamish and his friends Cohen, Rhys and Amara are in the 8th grade at Wimbledon School, a school of prestige and luxury in London. Hamish is a free-spirited boy who is fascinated by the story of the Knights of the Round Table. Among the four, he is one who wants to be in an adventure. Cohen is Hamish’s neighbor and closest friend who also happens to be the number one troublemaker in school, always landing Hamish in trouble alongside him. Despite his behavior, he is still sensitive about his school grades. Rhys is a panic-stricken boy who likes candies, chocolates and cakes. He is easily affected by scary stories and prefers to cower and hide than to face his fears. Amara is one of their classmates who gets dragged into their mischief. She is grade-conscious, likes to preserve her class standing and is very bossy most of the times. The four of them are thirteen, Cohen being the eldest by months.

The four friends get caught making trouble during class and are sent to the principal’s office for punishment. Along the way they decide to go on a detour to entertain the voice that Rhys hears. When they follow the voice, they are surprised to find themselves entering a whole new world of goblins, wolves, knights and magic.

Together they have to deal with and fight an army of goblin riders that want to take over their school by closing off the portal that connects the goblin world to a hallway back in Wimbledon. It is up to Hamish and his friends to defeat the goblin riders and save their school from harm.
